We have built this site to require as little personal information as possible. If you never subscribe to The Quarterly, we collect nothing about you at all. If you do subscribe, we collect your email address — and use it only to send the newsletter.
The only personal data we actively collect is an email address, and only if you voluntarily subscribe to The Quarterly newsletter via a form on this site. Providing your email is entirely optional — every page of this site is accessible without sharing any personal information.
We do not operate user accounts, require registration, collect names, addresses, phone numbers, or payment information. We do not ask for anything beyond an email.
If you subscribe, we use your email address to send The Quarterly — a newsletter covering country club financial filings, compensation movements, and data from IRS Form 990 returns. It is issued up to four times per year. We do not send promotional emails on behalf of third parties, sell your email address, or rent it to marketing lists.
Every issue of The Quarterly includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it removes you from our list. You may also request removal at any time by emailing hello@countryclubintel.com. We will honor all unsubscribe requests promptly.
This site is hosted on Vercel (vercel.com). Vercel automatically collects server access logs — including IP addresses, browser user-agent strings, and request timestamps — for operational, security, and abuse-prevention purposes. These logs are governed by Vercel’s privacy policy. We do not use server logs for marketing or behavioral profiling.
We do not use first-party cookies for advertising, behavioral tracking, or analytics. We have not deployed Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any comparable tracking service. We do not use advertising networks.
Vercel’s infrastructure may set technical cookies for security and performance purposes (such as bot detection and load balancing). These are operational and not used to identify or profile individual users.
The financial data published on this site relates to organizations — country clubs — not to individuals. Where named individuals appear (for example, officers listed in Form 990 Part VII disclosures), this reflects information the organization itself was required by law to disclose publicly in its IRS filing. We republish such information consistent with its public record status.
We are not subject to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) because we do not compile or sell information about individuals for use in credit, employment, housing, or insurance decisions. Our data is about nonprofit organizations, not consumer credit profiles.
If you have subscribed to The Quarterly, you may at any time:

We will not retroactively reduce your rights under any policy in effect at the time your data was collected without obtaining fresh consent.
